North Carolina was amazing. Not only for the scenery, but more so because I got to be with my family and my future husband. Weird to say, Husband.. I'll have to work on that. Anyway, the weather obviously did not cooperate with us the first two days that we were there. It was chilly and rainy, but that didnt stop us from exploring the island. Driving from the airport to Topsail we were all a little if-y on how things would turn out since we drove though town after town of mobile homes, and trucks supporting confederate flags. I must say North Carolina definatly has a lot of hicks and they are proud to be racisist thats for sure.  It is easier, and more fun, for me to show you our trip to North Carolina through pictures. Enjoy!

The cute yellow house is the one we stayed in! It was the perfect size for 5 people. All the houses on the island were pretty huge, but we were happy with what we had. It was very cozy.

Here is a little sample of some of the yummy food we ate that week. Everything is deep fried down there! My stomache was screaming at me by the end of the trip. Above is a picture of a pork sandwhich we tried at Smithfield's. It has coleslaw on it! So good. And, below is a picture of a hot dog I had at Myrtle Beach, also very good. It had cheese, onions, chili, mustard, and some other crazy ingredient on it. I would definatly like another. Some other things we tried that arent pictured are: flounder, grouper, shrimp, fried clams, oysters, shrimp nachos, and crab dip. Lots of sea food! My grandma also made a home made meal of pot roast and mashed potatoes! I will miss that meal when I move to CA.
These "fences" lined where sand dunes were in front of the houses. It is illegal to step on the dunes becuase that is where the sea turtles go to lay eggs.
Surf Beach- huge waves!
The bridge we walked on to get to Surf Beach. Forever is definatly what we saw, very beautiful.
Me and my Mom at Surf Beach!
Sitting out on the deck. It was so relaxing to watch and listen to the waves roll into shore. This was a hot spot for the sea gulls to flock to. My mom would feed them corn flakes and bread! Talk about scary!
We did just a little bit of shopping... Okay, a lot of shopping.
A picture Robbie took of me. He makes me so happy!
 Hanging out on the deck!
The girls! We had a great week, and made wonderful memories! Love you!
One of the many dolphins that were swimming right in front of our house in the morning. This one was riding one of the huge waves in. So cool to watch them!
On the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. It was so fun going there and definatly worth the 2.5 hour drive. I love going to new places and this one had been on my list for awhile! I am happy that I got to cross off a place to visit, and share the memories with the ones I love!
At Ripley's Believe It or Not. Myrtle Beach.
Words can't even explain this picture! I will let your imaginations run wild. HAHA!
This is a rare photo. My Grandma actually smiling for a picture. It must have been a candid one that she didnt know I was taking! But, I love this picture. My Grandma is happy and that makes me happy :)

The 5 days went by much faster than I would have liked, but I am happy we went. I only have to wait 2.5 weeks for Robbie to come home for Easter!!! We also came home to some wonderful weather! It has been upper 50's or 60's all week with tons of sunshine! The dogs are loving the weather too! I also get to start running outside again. I can tell I'm outta shape so I have to start kicking my butt for the wedding! Less than 2 months away! Crazy.

On another note... Everyone please pray for Robbie's dad, Brad, who just got deployed to Japan today. He will be over there for 31 days. Hopefully he will be safe and no more natural disasters will hit when he is over there. (Japan just got hit with a 7.4 earthquak today.) Positive thoughts and energy going his way!
